| The Art of Lorenzo Sperlonga |

|
1969 ist er in Italien geboren und studierte Illustration, graphisches Design und Animation an
Roberto Rossellini's italienischem Institut für Kinematographie und Fernsehen in Rom.
1992 bis 1993 arbeitet er mit
"Vallardi Publishing" an dem Kinder-orientierten Comic-Buch "Tiramolla" und für das TV-Magazin
"Satellite" an Cover Zeichnungen und Karikaturen.
1994 begann er seine Karrierre als Pin-Up Zeichner,
1995
fertigte er für die italienische Ausgabe des Playboy's und Penthouse
Illustrationen an.
1995 trifft er sich in Los Angeles mit dem Heavy Metal Verlag und
diskutiert gemeinsam mit ihm die Möglichkeiten einer Arbeit für den amerikanischen Markt. |

Fünf Jahre später erscheint sein erstes Cover für die Heavy Metal Magazine in den USA.
Im Jahr 1998 zieht er nach Los Angeles und arbeitet konstant für Larry Flynt Publikationen (Hustler), als Illustrator.
Dort zeichnet er seinen ersten Comic: "Angel Baby". Sieben atemberaubende Seiten einer sehr erotischen
Geschichte, geschrieben von Bruce David. Noch heute erscheinen seine
Illustrationen regelmäßig in den Hustler-Magazinen.
